Moodle LMS is being widely used at NAIT for different delivery models – face-to-face, blended, and online. Instructors in the past have tried to upload/host videos on Moodle, and it caused issued during cloning courses each term, and the learner experience was not positive with videos uploaded to Moodle. This is understandable as Moodle servers weren’t built to host or stream videos.
Panopto is a video management platform that is built to capture, host, share, and stream videos. It integrates well with most Learning Management Systems including Moodle, as well as being shared through a web browser.
