Library Search Tool: Login & My Library Account

How to login and use the library search tool features to retrieve materials.

Logging In

Login to the library search tool from any computer.

If users are logged on to a campus computer with a student or staff portal ID, they will be automatically signed in to the library search tool.

If users are using the search tool from off-campus, they will be prompted to sign in with a student or staff portal ID.

Why Should I Sign In?

When you sign into the library search tool, you are able to do the following:

  • Set preferences for your current and future sessions. You can set your preferences so that they reflect the way you usually search, and save them for future sessions.
  • Add items you found permanently to your Favorites. You can save items for future use.
  • Access external licensed resources. Library Services offers licensed information resources to its users. Once you sign in, you can search and retrieve items from these additional resources.
  • Use library services. You can benefit from library services such as requesting items or placing items on hold.

My Library Account

On the library homepage, click My Library Account. Or, after searching and on the results page, click My Library Account at the top right of the screen. Users can set preferences for search sessions, add items to your Favorites list, track search histories, and tailor the search tool.

After you’ve signed into My Library Account, check  the due dates of resources you’ve borrowed, renew books, or cancel a hold or delivery request.
