Cape Breton University Students

It is not practical for CBU students in Alberta to have print resources in the CBU Library sent to them. Instead, CBU students can borrow from Alberta academic libraries that participate in CURBA (Canadian University Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement), including the University of Alberta. The only borrowing requirement is a valid CBU student ID card. A NAIT library barcode will be applied to the CBU card. Students can borrow CBU Major Research Essays from Course Reserves at NAIT Library. The late fine  is $1/day. In the event that material is lost or irreparably damaged, the full replacement value, together with a processing fee plus any outstanding fines will be payable to the Library.

If you are living in Alberta and wish to borrow other materials from NAIT, request a free TAL (The Alberta Library) card from your local public library. You can use the TAL card to borrow books at over 300 libraries across Alberta, including NAIT.
